Chris Grottick
Chris is an award winning artist/filmmaker with over 20 years of public projection experience.
His video art has been shown alongside Turner prize winning artists in a diverse range of spaces as well as galleries, including a public park in London, alongside the Grand Canal in Venice, as the finale of the Big Chill Music Festival in Dorset and even in a desert in the United Arab Emirates as part of the Sharjah Art Biennale.
Chris’ projects actively encourage direct participation from the general public in an attempt to blur the boundaries between artist and audience. He is an Associate Lecturer in Animation at the University of the Arts, London, specialising in site specific moving image in the public sphere.
Giles Thacker
Giles has been at the cutting edge of moving image design and content creation for over 25 years. Since his early days as a pioneer VJ he has been exploring the interface between projection and other art forms, particularly in a live context. Giles' areas of special interest are working with complex screen designs and fusing projection with live performance. He often directs and operates live.
Giles was video designer with the band Orbital for over 20 years, performing over 200 live shows around the world. More recently Giles has overseen numerous large scale video mapping installations as head of motion graphics for Drive Productions, for clients such as Nokia, Bentley, Ferrariworld, Nike, JCB and Ralph Lauren.
Kate Laird
Kate is an independent creative producer and has worked across all art genres in the last 20 years developing a specialism in combined arts, theatre and outdoor arts.
She has produced work on various scales - indoors, outdoors and site specific. Kate has an in-depth knowledge of the funding sector having worked at regional and national level in Combined Arts and Theatre at Arts Council England. Kate is currently on the Board of Directors for NPO Mandinga Arts.
